Wagner Blue Green

Heavy bearing indeterminate plants produce a gorgeously coloured fruit with yellow, purple, and green, of medium size, smooth, and blemish free with a wonderful flavour! There is no red colour in these fruits, the interior flesh is green when ripe. Note the bottom of the fruits (as with all dark coloured varieties) for ripe yellow colour as an indicator for when to pick. Bred by renowned open pollinated plant breeder Tom Wagner by crossing the purple Indigo Apple and his variety Green Zebra.
