Orders still mailed out as time allows, but not rapidly at this time of year! Priority is out in the gardens now for the growing season. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
Tinga in English is often known as "Tangier Pea" and has lovely pink “sweet pea” like flowers and small dark seeds. The vines are about 4’ - 5' long with very slender leaves. To the best of our knowledge, the seeds, plant, and flowers, are NOT for human consumption and can be toxic to humans as is the case with all lathyrus generally. Usage is decorative, nitrogen fixing when green material worked into soil, and potentially as a forage crop. Click here for an interesting article about it from 1925!
