Accepting 2024 seed orders but also harvesting and processing seeds so there may be some delays in shipping!
Nasturtium, a Peruvian native, has been grown in gardens for a very long time. The shield-shaped leaves have a tangy, cress-like flavour and are used in salads. Flowers are also eaten and buds and seeds can be pickled. The original nasturtiums were long trailing plants but we are offering two compact varieties. Empress of India has dark bluish-green foliage with flowers of an intense crimson-scarlet and dates back to the late 1800’s.
Approx 20 seeds per packet.
