Lady’s (Yellow) Bedstraw is an English wildflower. On the prairies, our native bedstraws are white-flowered, but this one has many small bright yellow flowers. The plants are mat-forming with weak stems and narrow green leaves. It has been used to curdle milk and colour cheese, especially in Gloucestershire. It is also apparently used as a dye plant, the roots for a red colour, and the flowers for a yellow colour.
