Psoralea - Indian Breadroot

Indian Breadroot is a densely hairy plant generally under 1′, growing from a large starchy edible root. This member of the pea family has small blue flowers in a dense spike. Grows throughout the prairies. Cold stratify seed or seed in the fall where you want it to grow.
