It is a European wildflower with showy bright orange flowers quite attractive to insects. The flower stalk, perhaps 1 1/2' long, rises out of a rosette of hairy basal leaves, and ends in a flat topped head of 5—10 dandelion-like flowers. Our plants are growing in a grassy patch, stretching to contribute to their orange accent.
