Golden Bantam was developed by J.G. Picket in Massachusetts in 1902. It is still the standard for open-pollinated yellow sweet corn. The 5”-7” ears have excellent flavour but mature a bit late here in Saskatchewan. We are offering Early Golden Bantam (C), one of a number of strains developed in its more than 100 year history.
