Deliciously tender cucumbers that are said to resist bitterness and are long and slender. This is a cucumber variety from Japan. A 1939 seed catalog of Tanaka & Co. said: “Hardiness and prolific bearing character are meritorious features of Japanese varieties of cucumber. They withstand drought, moisture and attack of fungoid disease to a remarkable degree.”
