Cream of Saskatchewan is a watermelon that produces large, round, light green striped with darker green fruits. The sweet, crisp flesh is pale yellow. The rind is very thin and the least bump causes the ripe fruit to crack. We do not know where the name comes from but this is an older variety, perhaps brought to Saskatchewan by immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
