Striped Chocolate is a large fruited variety with vigorous and productive vines. Hard to tell when ripe as fruits remain largely green. However, we had some volunteer plants in the tunnel this year and I picked the fruits when they were still green and they kept really well, slowly ripening indoors, and were much tastier. If you wait until they ripen on the plant, they are overripe and not good tasting. A better experience with this tomato this year!
