Orders mailed out as time allows. Thanks for your understanding and patience. Inventory to be updated with 2025 harvest in December sometime. NOTE FOR US CUSTOMERS: Unfortunately we are no longer sending seeds to the USA at this time.
We have grown small samples of this wheat for a number of years and now have enough to offer it. It is midseason and mid-tall and the heads are white when fully mature. The heads have medium beards which are very spreading. It has been grown in Utah since about 1890 and was widely sold by a Mr. Lofthouse as the best variety of wheat for dryland farming. The original wheat had white kernels but, since 1904, has been red kerneled. We have been spring seeding it but it is listed as a winter wheat.
