Dalea - Purple Prairie Clover

Purple Prairie Clover is a prairie species forming clumps of upright stems 1’—2′ tall. The small purple flowers are tightly bunched on a spike, starting to bloom at the bottom and working their way up. For best germination, scarify seeds or perhaps seed outdoors in fall.
