Heart-Leaved Alexanders grows on the prairies and parklands. It has bright yellow flowers in a flat-topped cluster from early summer on and is upright and showy. Basal leaves are heart shaped; stem leaves are three-lobed. Probably best to fall seed in flats outdoors (for cold stratification) where there is good snow cover.
