Important Announcement
Prairie Garden Seeds will have our full inventory of vegetable seeds added back to the online store by January! Thanks for your patience with us as we took some much needed time off to rest and reflect on our work and operations.Many changes have been taking place on our end, including Jim and Rachelle now set up to operate the seed business together from the Battlefords area (much closer to our Cochin area family farm location). We have been working hard the last couple months getting everything organized in this new location as well as continuing to process seeds from this year’s growing season.

Grains & Cereals
Our collection of grains and cereals is probably the largest publicly accessible personal collection out there. Jim is a collector and so has accumulated varieties over the years, some of which are becoming of great interest to all of you in the last number of years! Check out the beauty and diversity that exists amongst a group of plants where we often only see a couple standard varieties. Of this collection, the diversity in our wheats is greatest, from einkorn wheats to spelts and emmers to species wheats to bread wheats and durum wheats! Pictured here is Warrior Barley.
