During this week of thanksgiving, I wish to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all our wonderful seed customers and friends who have helped keep Prairie Garden Seeds operating through the chaos of this past year. A special thanks to Jody and Meghan, who put a lot of time and energy into helping keep our wheels turning!
We deeply appreciate our connections with all of you through our seed work, but now have some difficult news to share.
In light of various challenges here on the farm, I, Rachelle, have come to the extremely difficult decision to suspend the distribution of our vegetable seed collection for the next year. Jim will continue flower and grain seed distribution.
I will be taking a much-needed pause from the continuous stress of the farm and seed business operations to reflect on how to move forward. In the coming months, I will be regrouping, catching up on various business-related tasks, and evaluating what Prairie Garden Seeds will look like in the future. This pandemic has underscored the importance of mental health and well-being, and mine is in great need of a boost. With this break, I also intend to give myself the time and rest needed for this.
Our website store is now unavailable until around October 22nd while we reorganize our listing. Only the FLOWERS AND GRAINS will be listed for sale when the store is back online. Our VEGETABLE seed inventory is unavailable for the coming seed selling season. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please know that this decision has not been taken lightly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your understanding and support during these times.
We wish you all the best this winter. Take care of yourselves and those you love.
