Dear valued American customer,

We would love to send you our seeds from Canada, however, we are having more and more problems with seeds arriving at their destination when sent to USA customers as they get confiscated by the USDA or US Customs. The easiest way for us to ensure their safe arrival at your home is to include a phytosanitary certificate, which we can obtain by filling out a form and taking your order to be inspected here at a government office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, a city about 1.5 hour drive one way from where we live. We are willing to do this for your seed order but we are charged a fee to obtain this and it costs us quite a bit of time, resources, and juggling in order to make this all work, therefore we have been charging customers a $30 fee for this paperwork process. We are happy to do this process for you but you must pay this fee which is included in the S&H costs.

We are no longer willing to send seed orders to the USA without this paperwork as we don’t know if they will be confiscated and seed destroyed. This is incredibly disappointing for us, and you the customer of course, when this happens.

If you would like to add seeds to your order to make it more worth the $30 phytosanitary certificate fee this might be a consideration for you.

Obtaining this certificate also means there will be a bit of additional time added before we can mail your seed order but we will get it sent out as soon as we possibly can! We want our seeds to arrive in a timely fashion so we are doing our best to make this all work, it is just quite a bit of juggling of timelines and steps.
